Scope
These terms govern every sale made on whereismybeach.com (personalized posters, mugs and digital PDF files). Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms.
Products
Each item is made to order and personalized: the design is generated from the real coastline of the chosen beach (OpenStreetMap data), your date, your dedication and, for the “That day” style, astronomical computations. Slight color differences between screen and print may occur.
Prices
Prices are in euros, all taxes included (French VAT 20% — orders shipped outside the EU are VAT-exempt exports, art. 262 I of the French CGI), standard delivery included. The price shown at checkout is the total price.
Order and payment
Payment is processed by PayPal (PayPal account or bank card). The order is firm once payment is confirmed; you receive a confirmation email and a numbered receipt.
Delivery
The PDF is delivered within minutes on the confirmation page and by email. Printed items are produced by our print partner Gelato (Gelato ASA, Oslo, Norway) and its network in 30+ countries, near the recipient, and typically ship within 2–5 working days (indicative); the tracking number is emailed when available.
Right of withdrawal
Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order personalized goods (3°) nor to digital content delivered immediately with your express consent (13°), which you give at the time of ordering. Any defective or damaged item is reprinted or refunded — just get in touch.
Legal warranties
You benefit from the French legal warranty of conformity (art. L217-3 sq. of the Consumer Code, 2 years) and the warranty against hidden defects (art. 1641 sq. of the Civil Code). A non-conforming item is reprinted or refunded, shipping included.
