Golden sand, blue water, family fun in Tenerife

About
Playa Paraíso View sits along the sunny coast of Adeje in Tenerife, Canary Islands, offering roughly 200 metres of golden sand backed by scenic views that draw families and day-trippers alike. The blue water is calm enough for confident swimmers, and the beach's excellent facilities mean you won't be hunting for a sunbed or a shower. It's a busy spot — no secret, no pretence — but the easy access and accessible layout make it genuinely welcoming for all ages and abilities. The surrounding landscape of southern Tenerife frames every glance inland or out to sea with something worth pausing for.
How to get there
Getting here is straightforward. From Adeje, it's a five-minute drive by car or a ten-minute bus ride — both run daily. Street and lot parking are available near the beach, so arriving by car is hassle-free. There's no entry fee to access the beach itself.
Who it's for
For couples
Couples who want easy, sun-soaked days without logistical headaches will feel at home here — the scenic views and calm blue water make for a relaxed backdrop, especially on quieter mornings before the beach fills up.
For families
Playa Paraíso View is built for families: safe swimming, excellent on-site facilities, easy access, and an accessible layout mean you can focus on the kids rather than the logistics. The nearby Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife at 0.3km makes a convenient base.
Our take
Feet in the sand, eyes on the screen
Playa Paraíso View doesn't try to be anything other than what it is: a well-equipped, family-friendly beach on one of Tenerife's most accessible stretches of coast. Swimming is safe, the golden sand is genuine, and the blue water delivers on a sunny day. It's busy — that's the honest truth — but the facilities are good enough that it rarely feels overwhelming if you time your visit right. June through September is the sweet spot; skip December and January when winter swells take the edge off the experience. The proximity of Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife and easy connections from Adeje make this a low-effort, high-reward stop on any southern Tenerife itinerary. Not the most secluded beach on the island, but one of the most practical.
What to do
Just 2km away, El Puertito is a small bay perfect for snorkelling — a short drive or walk and well worth the effort. If you're after more dramatic scenery, Mirador Archipenque delivers striking coastal views from 14.6km away. Families with older kids will find Siam Park, one of Europe's largest water parks, about 13.8km up the road — a full day out in itself. And if you want to tick off Spain's highest peak, Mount Teide looms 60.9km away and is unmissable on a clear day.
Frame a wide shot from the water's edge at golden hour, with the blue water stretching out and the coastal scenery behind — the light is soft and the colours are vivid.
The accessible promenade area offers clean, uncluttered angles looking along the 200-metre stretch of golden sand. For something beyond the beach itself, El Puertito's small bay at 2km away adds a more intimate, natural composition to your feed.

Photography
The best light hits the golden sand in the early morning, when the blue water catches a warm glow and the beach is at its quietest — shoot from the waterline looking back toward the scenic coastal backdrop. Late afternoon works well too, with the sun dropping behind the hills and casting long shadows across the sand.
Good to know
Arrive early in the morning to claim your spot on the golden sand before the day-trippers pile in — this beach gets busy fast in peak season. Stick to the June–September window for the best swimming conditions; December and January bring winter swells that make the water rough and less enjoyable. The beach is accessible, so mobility aids and pushchairs are well-catered for along the approach. Swimming is safe here under normal conditions, but always check local swell advisories before entering the water during shoulder months.
