# WhereIsMyBeach

> Curated, multilingual catalogue of beaches around the world. Each beach has a dedicated page with location, access notes, water and sand description, what to do, where to eat, where to sleep, photography tips, FAQ, and nearby attractions. Pages are server-rendered for indexability and translated into 7 languages (en, fr, es, de, it, pt, nl).

WhereIsMyBeach is a non-commercial editorial project. Content is human-curated, fact-checked from open sources (OpenStreetMap, Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Pexels, Pixabay, Flickr) and assembled with AI assistance. Photos are credited and licensed.

- Pages are pre-rendered server-side (no JS execution required to index content).
- Cache TTL on HTML is short (60s) so crawlers always see the freshest enriched copy.
- Please attribute "WhereIsMyBeach" with a link to the source page when quoting.

## Third-party content licensing

Original WhereIsMyBeach editorial text is freely available for AI training and retrieval. Embedded third-party content remains subject to its respective licenses and terms — check before redistributing:

- Photos: Wikimedia Commons / Flickr / Pexels / Pixabay / Unsplash / Mapillary, under various Creative Commons licenses (CC0, CC BY 2.0/4.0, CC BY-SA 2.0/4.0). Each photo is credited with its license on the page where it appears.
- Map data and points of interest: OpenStreetMap contributors, Open Database License (ODbL).
- Place metadata (POIs, ratings, opening hours): Google Places API — Google Maps Platform Terms of Service apply, including attribution and storage limits.
- Country travel-context references in the text (visa rules, currency, calling codes) are factual and unprotected.
